Bring your business email to Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace. We check what is in your mailboxes, what lives on individual computers and what your team needs on the other side.
Start with your domain. We’ll confirm the setup and explain the next step.
Understand your options
A workspace that fits your team.
Whether you want familiar Outlook tools or a move into Gmail, start with the email and working practices your business depends on.
Outlook & Microsoft tools
Move to Microsoft 365
Migrate supported email and folders to Exchange Online, with destination mailboxes, addresses and mail routing planned before the switch.
Contacts, calendars and local Outlook archives are assessed separately from an IMAP email copy.
Gmail & Google tools
Move to Google Workspace
Bring supported email into Gmail and set up your team on Google Workspace. Agree how folders will map and what needs a separate export or import.
We plan the change in mail apps, sign-in and team workflows alongside the data move.
Already on Microsoft 365?
Check the provider arrangement
Microsoft 365 supplied by Rackspace is different from Rackspace Email. Changing the provider may not require moving your mailboxes to a new tenant.
We first check your service, administrator access, subscriptions and intended destination.
A faster move starts with preparation
Look beyond the inbox.
Know what needs to move before you pick a date. We use the inventory and a representative test to reduce avoidable delays.
Mailboxes, folders and shared addresses
Inventory users, mailbox sizes, aliases and forwarding. Agree the destination for each account before copying supported mail.
Mail stored on computers
Older POP setups may hold mail only in Outlook or another desktop app. Local archives and provider archiving services need their own review.
A planned switching window
Prepare accounts and copy existing mail ahead of time where supported. Coordinate the final sync, DNS changes and checks for incoming and outgoing mail.
Before you make the switch.
Is Rackspace Email the same as Microsoft 365?
No. Rackspace Email and Microsoft 365 through Rackspace are different services. That distinction affects whether the work is an email migration, a provider change or a move between tenants. We confirm the current service before recommending a method.
Will my contacts and calendars move with my email?
An IMAP migration covers supported messages and mail folders. It does not automatically copy contacts, calendars, tasks or archives held elsewhere. We inventory those separately and agree the export, import or manual work needed.
Can I keep using Outlook?
The answer depends on the destination plan, Outlook version and how you want to work. Microsoft 365 offers Exchange Online connectivity in supported Outlook setups; Google Workspace uses a different setup. Desktop licensing and device changes are confirmed in the scope.
Should I cancel Rackspace before the migration?
Keep the source service and access available until the agreed data and mail-flow checks are complete. We plan the overlap and handover first, so cancellation does not remove access needed for the move.
How long will it take, and what will it cost?
Mailbox numbers, data volumes, access, the destination and extra workloads determine the scope. We agree the price and schedule before paid work starts. Where supported, copying existing mail ahead of the switch reduces the work left for the cutover window.
